French Cuirassier Helmet

Stunning very decorative model 1845/58 French Cuirassier helmet with crimson feather plume. Polished steel skull with brass trimmed front visor and neck guard various stamps to rear. Black fur turban, black leather backed chin scales attached to rosettes. Ornate brass cimier decorated with floral volutes, grenade bomb and medusa head. Brass plume holder with crimson plume. Crimson crest and horse hair tail to rear. Leather liner looks to be original.
