Pair of Bronze Grand Tour Neo-Grec Velute Kraters

Rare pair of very attractive good quality patinated bronze Grand Tour Neo-Grec velute kraters. Large size and unusually in heavy bronze. Decorated on the front and reverse with relief studies of charioteers and classical anthemion designs. Classical velute handles with swan heads. Mounted on Levanto marble bases. France, circa 1870.
