The Apotheosis of Hercules Print

Beautiful 18th Century architectural engraving of a section of the Apotheosis of Hercules by Charles Le Brun (1619-1690) for the ceiling of the Galerie d'Hercule in the Hôtel Lambert, Paris. Engraved and printed by Louis Surugue (1686-1762) in 1713. The relief is flanked by figures of Hercules with the Cretan bull and a horse of Diomedes. One sheet from print that comprised thirteen sheets and a dedication sheet.
