Small Grand Tour Model of a Roman Vasca in Alabaster

Rare and interesting late 19th Century small Italian Grand Tour figured alabaster and marble cabinet reduction of a classical Roman vasca or bath. Beautifully carved oversize lion paw feet, ring side handles and central lions head masks. Mounted on a figured white marble base. Rome, circa 1880.
