Grand Tour Bronze of Cronos on Siena Marble

Early 19th Century finely cast patinated cabinet bronze figure of Cronos, the Greek personification of Time. The beautifully modelled winged figure of Cronos holds a scythe and an hour glass. Standing on a dome and mounted on a Sienna marble block base. France, circa 1820.
