Grand Tour Pair of Berlin Bronzed Busts of Diana and Apollo

A small pair of late 19th/early 20th century Grand Tour German patinated bronzed metal cabinet busts of the Apollo Belvedere and the Diana of Versailles, Diana Chasseresse, after the antique originals in the Vatican Museum in Rome, and the Musée du Louvre in Paris. Mounted on pale green onyx with rich brown marbeling pedestal columns and gilt bronze accents. Repair to reverse of one base. German, probably Berlin, circa 1900.
