Pair of English Regency figural Cupid candlesticks

A very attractive and rare pair of French influenced English Regency marble, gilt bronze ormolu and patinated bronze figural cupid candlesticks. Elegant classically inspired white marble with ormolu mounted column bases surmounted by deep dark almost black patinated bronze figures of Cupid holding a single arrow and a full quiver whilst holding aloft the candle cups in the form of a flaming torch of love. Great fun, super quality. English, circa 1820.
