Rare, unusual and finely carved 19th century Italian Grand Tour Marmo Rosso Antico satyr's head oil lamp or lucerna library lamp, after the antique Roman originals. Beautifully carved smiling foliate face for the body of the lamp with similar foliate designs to the underside, handle and stem. Sitting on a black marble base.
