CA0429 Grand Tour Cabinet bronze of Julius Caesar as Imperator

Small nice quality early 20th century Italian Grand Tour cabinet bronze of Julius Caesar as imperator, wearing lorica and paludamentum cloak after the antique original in the Museo della Civiltà Romana and a bronze version of the same statue on the Via dei Fori Imperiali in Rome. Presented on a stepped bronze base with an inscription to the front and a Portoro marble block base. Probably Roman circa 1920.
