CA0172 Early 19th Century French Empire brûle-parfum

A beautiful and rare early 19th century French Empire patinated and gilt bronze brûle-parfum or pastille burner in the form of a winged figure of Victory standing on a column with extended hands holding a suspended ormolu hanging basket with frett cut foliage design. Triangular base with fine gilt mounts and lion paw feet. Probably French, circa 1820.
