Rare 19th Century bronze mythological tazza depicting Perseus saving the chained Andromeda from the sea monster Cetus by showing the head of Medusa. Signed E.Picault.Fecit. for the French sculptor Emile Louis Picault (1833-1915). On an associated period alabaster socle. Circa 1880.
