CA1069 Early 19th Century Siena Marble Borne Clock

Large and imposing early 19th Century French Empire Siena and green marble ormolu mounted borne shaped mantel clock. Greek classical gilt bronze ouroboros style bezel with a silvered face, Breguet hands, and a gilt bronze krater style urn ormolu mount. 8 day silk suspension movement signed Chamont à Paris. French, circa 1830.
