CA1017 Grand Tour Alabaster Arrotino

A rare 19th Century Grand Tour alabaster Arrotino, the Blade Sharpener, after the antique. The original is thought to be a figure from a Hellenistic-Roman group representing the Flaying of Marsyas and is now on display in the Tribuna of the Uffizi in Florence.
