CA0901 Bust of a Young Faun by Guglielmo Pugi

Lovely, well carved and expressive late 19th Century Florentine alabaster bust of a young faun with leaves in his hair by Guglielmo Pugi (1850-1915). Good size, well executed and characterful library bust signed 'Pugi' to the reverse. Mounted on a nicely figured marble socle block. Florence, circa 1890.
