Faience Funerary Amulet of Anubis

Fine, small ancient Egyptian faience funerary amulet of the god of mummification and the underworld, Anubis. Superb greeny blue colour faience, typical walking pose. These amulets were stitched into the funerary bindings of a mummified person via the suspension loop to the back cental pillar of the amulet. Small loses. Acquired from a leading London dealer in 1990s. Late period 600-300BC.
