Pair of English Carved Oak Busts of Classical Warriors

Pair of 19th Century, or earlier, carved English oak busts of classical warriors. Beautifully executed, by repute they were the tops of two jambs used to keep the doors open at a medieval church. Very decorative they display beautifully or could make stunning newel post finials. Unusual and very characterful.
