CA0515 Fine cast iron wall shield depicting a classical battle

Fascinating, fine quality, heavy, 19th century bronze patinated cast iron wall shield depicting a classical battle continuous border scene of fighting warriors in incredible detail. Reverse stamped 'GESETZLICH GESCHUTZT' which is a late 19th century German copyright mark and a stamp for the Lauchhammer Art Casting Foundry. Good condition with what looks like a correct but replacement central spear head. German circa 1890.
