CA0508 Ancient Egyptian Isis Nursing Horus Funerary Amulet

Fine, small size ancient Egyptian faience funerary amulet of the goddess Isis nursing the infant god Horus. Lovely greeny blue colour faience with superb detail for the size, very skillfully done. These amulets were stitched into the funerary bindings of a mummified person via the suspension loop to the back cental pillar of the amulet. Old repair. Acquired from a leading London dealer in 1990s. Late period 600-300BC.
