CA0500 Unusual pair of French Egyptian Revival candlesticks

An interesting and elegant pair of late 19th century 'Retour d'Egypte' bronze Empire style candlesticks. Slim tappered stems topped with egyptian style caryatid busts in the manner of early 19th century French Consulate period originals. Large circular drip trays to the base. France, circa 1890.
