CA0466 Rare Miniature Type IV Legion d'Honneur

Original French miniature 17mm Chevalier grade silver Legion d’Honneur medal Type IV 1811-1814 with its original crown and silver suspension ring. The gold centres with the bust of Napoleon were replaced during the Bourbon Restauration after the fall of Napoleon by versions with Henri IV on the front and fleur des lis on the reverse. Slight losses, no ribbon. Circa 1815.
