CA0396 Small Grand Tour bronze of Spinario

19th century Grand Tour patinated cabinet bronze of Spinario on a grey bardiglio antico circular marble base, after the original Greco-Roman Hellenistic sculpture in the Palazzo dei Conservatori, Capitoline Museum, Rome. Depicting a boy withdrawing a thorn from the sole of his foot it is often referred to as the Boy with the Thorn or Fedele (Fedelino).
