CA0458 Grand Tour Verdigris Bronze of the Dancing Faun

Beautifully patinated late 19th century italian Grand Tour verdigris archeological finish bronze of the Dancing Faun, after the antique. The original of this bronze was excavated at Pompeii in 1830 in what became known as the House of the Faun. The original bronze can now be seen in the Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli. Italy, probably Naples, circa 1890.
