Rare Grand Tour bronze of the Vénus d'Arles

Rare good size 19th century patinated bronze full length library statue of the 'Vénus d'Arles' after the antique original found in 1651 in the Roman Theatre in Arles and now housed in the Louvre in Paris. Fine quality casting in the manner of Barbedienne with the Reduction Merchanique seal of Achille Collas. French, circa 1890.
